If the facing of the walls has come loose the entire wall is likely compromised. The interior is made of EPS foam and the mfg glued a wallboard product on each side and once it gets wet its gone.  The engineering team thought that one through; non-waterproof for a boat?? *inappropriate language not permitted*

Bought all the materials at Lowes.  3/4" eps foam (use the blue and peel off the foil and plastic covering), 1/8" fiberglass sheets.  Glue with an FRP or carpet type glue.

To be honest the process has been arduous. I looked everywhere for 1" wall material that was lightweight and couldn't find what I wanted at an affordable price so I settled on building my own. I used 1/8" fiberglass sheets glued to 3/4" foam. Came up to about $50/ panel and I think i needed 8 panels. I really struggled on the motor as mine had a cracked block. I bought one for $900 that was a later model. I just got the seats redone this past week and they turned out great. Ill post additional pics. I bought my starter off ebay.

A couple of pics of the rebuild. I’m struggling with materials for cabinetry that are light weight. Seems I’m going to have to fabricate something. Also anyone have a flooring suggestion on the rear deck area? I don’t want carpet.

What in the world have I gotten myself into? Overwhelming but rewarding!! Best therapy money can buy. I have read all the threads that I can find on my toon and am very appreciative of the detail many of you have shared. I hope my thread inspires others as well. My toon was a disaster when I got it...but it was free so what did I have to lose.
