I will be needing to pick out a minimum of 2 anchors for my 40' long x 12' wide double deck pontoon. 38" logs and full canvas. So needless to say she will catch some wind when anchored. I will be keeping the pontoon on our inland lake all summer and would really like to not wake in a storm and wonder if my boat is still where i left it.
Any info would be greatly appreciated. I have searched the site but nothing really what I am looking for as far as what other boaters are and have used.

My brother uses a box anchor. http://www.overtons.com/modperl/product/details.cgi?pdesc=Extra-Small-Box-Anchor&i=38806
It folds up  and seems to hold when he anchors at partridge lake he does have the good one. Also check box anchors on youtube.
